Stage 2 Lymphoma
Lymphoma is a term for a group of blood cancers, according to the & Leukemia Lymphoma Society. The two main types of lymphoma are Hodgkin lymphoma and Lymphoma non-Hodgkin. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is the most common form of lymphoma.
Staging tests
In order to determine the stage of lymphoma, patients undergo a series of tests that include blood tests, Imaging tests and bone marrow tests, according to the & Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
Phase II diagnosis
Diagnosed with stage II for both the Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin Lymphoma indicates that the lymphoma is in two or more areas of lymph nodes on the same side of the diaphragm, which is the muscle that separates the chest and abdomen. For example, the lymphoma can be present in the armpit and the neck to the stage II area, but not in both armpits and groin, according to the American Cancer Society.
Stage II diagnosis
