Hodgkin's lymphoma prognosis
Hodgkin Lymphomas are treated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy (not hodgkiniens them, lymphomas are generally treated only with chemotherapy). With the new anticancer molecules which are regularly born, the prognosis for lymphoma has improved in recent years so that between 60% and 95% of patients today manage to be completely healed. This difference is explained by the earliness of the support of lymphoma: more it is treated quickly, the more the chances of recovery are important. In children, the average of healing (5-year overall survival) of Hodgkin's lymphomas is 90%.
